GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RESERVATIONS
ORDER
The guest will receive a confirmation via SMS or email. There is an 18-year limit on booking accommodation. The hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking upon arrival if valid identification can not be presented.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in from 15:00.
Check-out before 12.00 (later check-out must be arranged)
CANCELLATION OF INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS (UP TO 5 ROOMS AND/OR 5 PEOPLE)
Cancellation of confirmed hotel rooms is free if canceled by phone or email no later than 2 days before check-in time. If canceled less than 2 days before arrival, the confirmed price will be charged 100%.
In case of non-attendance (No-show) - confirmed rooms and boat trips / events will be charged 100%.
Cancellation of confirmed tailor-made packages - must be done no later than 2 weeks before agreed arrival. If the confirmed tailor-made package is canceled less than 2 weeks before the agreed arrival - the agreed price of the package will be charged at 80%.
CANCELLATION GROUP RESERVATIONS (FOR 5 ROOMS OR 5 PEOPLE OR MORE)
All bookings, changes and cancellations must be made in writing.
To ensure the quality of the event, the order must be confirmed in writing to us - before the information can be sent out to other participants.
When booking a group, the name list, program, contact information of the leader of the group, any allergies and special needs must be sent to the hotel no later than 2 weeks before the event starts.
When ordering - an a-account amount of 50% of the offered total amount will be invoiced upon confirmation of the event.
CANCELLATION POLICY - PAYMENT
More than 90 days before the event date - No fee.
Between 90 and 60 days before the event date - 50% of the total.
Between 60 and 30 days before the event date - 80% of the total.
Less than 30 days before the event date - 100% of the total.
The cancellation policy also applies to the reduction of the number of room days, participants and booked events.
In case of no-show (No-show) - confirmed rooms and boat trips / events will be charged 100%.
BUY OUT
When booking 80% of the hotel or more, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the entire hotel.
DAMAGE
The guest is financially responsible for any damage caused to our hotel rooms, furniture or other equipment.
All our rooms are non-smoking. Please use our own designated smoking areas.
FOURCE MAJORE
In the event of events beyond our control, such as strikes, fires, extreme weather and other factors that prevent the stay or activity from being carried out, we reserve the right to cancel the stay or activity without further liability for payment of compensation.
INSURANCE
We recommend all our guests to take out a cancellation insurance with their own insurance company, which among other things covers cancellations due to illness. In addition, we recommend all our guests to have valid travel insurance.
PRICES AND PAYMENTS
We reserve the right to change prices as a result of increased costs for purchases, services, currency, increased taxes and fees or other matters controlled by external parties.
We strive to be cash-free and we encourage our guests to use electronic payment solutions. As a consumer and our guest, this will be a safe way to travel.
We encourage payment by credit card, bank terminal is available - and our hotel accepts MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Only Norwegian currency - NOK is accepted for cash settlement. Checks or traveler's checks are not accepted.
Any credit must always be agreed and accepted in advance. Payment terms for granted credit are net per 10 days. Payment information is stated on the invoice.
ADVANCE PAYMENT
We reserve the right to request advance payment.
COURT
Any dispute between the parties to this agreement that is not resolved without a court - the case will be brought before a local Norwegian court and its decision will be final.
BOAT TRIPS AND OTHER EXPERIENCES
We reserve the right to change or cancel trips due to bad weather, unforeseen events with equipment or crew. For safety reasons, the captain can choose a different route than planned. Changed route due to weather conditions does not provide a basis for refund of ticket.
All trips by boat are at your own risk. The guest is responsible for assessing their own physical and mental form in relation to the content of the trip. RIB trips take place at high speed and waves - and are associated with an extra risk. We do not recommend RIB trips for pregnant women and people with known diseases that can be aggravated by driving under the mentioned conditions. All participants on RIB tours must sign in advance of the tour that the participation is at their own risk and risk.
The guest must always follow the instructions given by the Captain - The captain always has the overall responsibility and the highest authority on the boat he / she leads. The Captain also has the authority to deny persons participation in our activities if it is considered a risk to safety - this is related to health, physical fitness, exposure to alcohol or other drugs or if they act in such a way that it is a nuisance to others participants.
Equipment brought on the boat trips - such as camera, mobile phones, bags, jewelry, glasses, etc. is brought at your own risk.
Customers who are to participate in joint RIB trips must show up at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time for wearing a life jacket and other equipment. We also recommend practical shoes that can withstand water and warm clothes, hats and gloves if the weather and temperature dictate it. We recommend waterproof protection for mobile phones and any camera equipment.
In the event of late arrival, the customer does not risk being allowed to join the trip - or that the trip will be correspondingly shorter. The trip must in any case be paid for in full and will not be refunded.
PRIVACY POLICYWe reserve the right to make any changes and conditions for a single event or a given period of time - the hotel or provider of the event will provide information about this.
